I wrote about the Bilinda Butchers back in April following the band posting their cover of The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart’s This Love Is Fucking Right. That got me interested in the band and I headed over to My Space where I was impressed what was on offer. I contacted the band to see if I could release something on indie-mp3 records and the result is that a release should appear before the years end.
The band have sent me some work in progress tracks including one that may possibly appear on the EP called All I Wanna Do Is Fall Asleep With You which sounds like The Field Mice out on a date with Slowdive. They sent a couple of other tracks for your listening pleasure which included a cover of The Pillows track Girls Don’t Cry. Enjoy!

Any band that sounds like the Field Mice is alright by me, though they do seem to have inherited that disappointing Field Mice trait of producing instrumentals. Cheers for the heads up Tom, and good luck with the EP.
