I ran across Sharesprings over on skatterbrain.org the other day. It’s pretty much instantly likeable shoegaze, feedback and My Bloody Valentine impressions aplenty. So far the band has only released a demo cd and appeared on compilations but apparently the first proper EP release is underway. Billy, Rusli, Tyza and Ardhi formed the band in Jakarta, Indonesia, in 2006 and describe themselves as a noisy pop band, “employing swirling, noisy guitars in an indiepop landscape from the late 80’s”. Sound allright to me!
